Global Team of 200 is a highly specialized group of members of Mom Bloggers for Social Good that concentrates on issues involving women and girls, children, world hunger and maternal health.

I read the much of the information on the Oxfam America site and it is very compelling and saddening. Too much food goes to waste and too many people are hungry. This seems like a problem that we would all want to fix and yet it continues. Our food production system is one that is broken, but we can all take at least some small steps to help repair it. Please join Oxfam America in this cause. (via Oxfam America is supporting World Food Day on October 16!)

Since then I’ve continued my full-time day job as an attorney while blogging in the evenings and on weekends. I help my clients during the days at the non-profit I work for and then my Nicole’s Nickels readers learn about the best new products for their families! I live in south/central Florida and have 2 cute dogs (see their picture under “mascots”) and an amazing husband who has a spunky 6 year old we get to spend a lot of time with.
