Global Team of 200 is a highly specialized group of members of Mom Bloggers for Social Good that concentrates on issues involving women and girls, children, world hunger and maternal health.

As I sit with my own daughter working with her on her ABC and getting her ready for her first days of preschool next year, all I can think of is her getting the best opportunity for education she can have. It is so hard to understand why so many girls around the world are denied an education simply because they are a girl.

First-Ever Box Design Contest! Also new is the Create-a-Character contest. For the first time in campaign history, those trick-or-treating for UNICEF are invited to submit original designs for their own collection boxes. Submitted designs will have a chance to be part of Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’s 2013 limited edition collection. A winning design from each category (children ages 4-8, 9-12, and 13 years and older) will be chosen and announced on Halloween, Oct. 31. The contest will run from September 1 through October 26.

When given the chance to use your voice to change a life, you do not stop to think if it is something you want to be apart of…you jump in feet first with your heart and arms open wide.
